I feel as though I always start these posts with ‘it’s been a while since my last Femme Luxe review,’ but it really has!
My last batch of outfits from Femme Luxe arrived just before Ethan and I moved to Valencia, and as always with a big move, things were a bit crazy for the first few weeks! Between working full time, getting settled into our new place and doing all kinds of life admin (I’m finally double-vaxxed, yay!), this post kinda got pushed by the wayside a little.
However, as always, I got a bunch of lovely clothes gifted to me from the lovely people over at Femme Luxe, and so I wanted to show them off a little!
So, with that said, let’s get into it.
Femme Luxe Review | Round 4
Who are Femme Luxe?
Femme Luxe are a fashion brand based in my home city of Manchester in the UK.
They are similar to the likes of Boohoo, Missguided, Nasty Gal etc. and their clothes are cute, affordable, and delivered quickly (with the option of next day delivery for the impatient ones among you!).
Femme Luxe specialise in loungewear and ‘going out clothes,’ (think bodycon dresses and slinky tops) and while many of their clothes are not my usual style, I do always find some cute things on their website.
My Femme Luxe Picks
I decided to get a little bit of everything this time! As well as a polka-dot mini dress I opted for a brown co-ord and also a lace bodysuit.
Brown Ribbed Belted Loungewear Set – Asia | £14.99
For £14.99, I think this set is such good value!
It’s super stretchy (I got it in a size 8/10 and I’m usually a 10), the material isn’t see through at all which is always a plus for leggings, and you can cinch in your waist with the belt to create a flattering silhouette.
I got tonnes of compliments when I went to a bar wearing this outfit, but it’s also perfect for casual days around the house.
Black & White Polka Dot Long Sleeve Wrap Mini Dress | £9.99
Ignore my balloons please, I was celebrating an achievement!
I don’t usually wear polka-dots but I love a good light mini-dress when it’s hot, and I think that this one is super cute for a restaurant or brunch date.
You can tie the belt around to flatter your figure, and both the waist and sleeves are super elasticated, making it a great fit.
To me, the material felt kinda cheap, but for the price, I can’t complain.
Black Floral Lace Sheer Mesh Cut Out Cupped Strappy Bodysuit | £12.99
I actually think that this bodysuit is beautiful – I especially love the cut out detail on the sternum – but unfortunately it just wasn’t a good fit for my boobs!
I ordered this bodysuit in a size 10 but my 34D chest was a little too big for it, and the cups offered no support whatsoever! I would still wear this on a night out with some denim shorts or something, but it’s safe to say I’d be wearing a black bra underneath!
For ladies with smaller chests though (I’d say that this is perfect for an A/B cup) I can’t knock this bodysuit. It has a snap fasten crotch making it easy to go pee (!) and the material is super stretchy.
Femme Luxe Review | Final Thoughts
I’m pretty happy with my picks from Femme Luxe. The bodysuit wasn’t the best fit, but if I’m being honest, I do struggle to find lingerie that fits when the sizes are just ‘UK 10’ rather than my specific bra size.
The brown loungewear set was definitely my favourite and I just know I’ll be getting so much wear out of it when the weather cools down again!
As for the polka-dot dress, I’d give it a 7/10. I wasn’t a huge fan of the material but it does look super cute on, and £10 is a steal for a nice dress.
