When I first stepped foot on the white sandy beaches of Koh Rong, Cambodia in October 2015, I had no idea that I would soon be calling this place my home.
You see, nobody ever plans to stay on the island of Koh Rong for months on end.
It just kind of…happens.
When I first discovered Koh Rong, I was two months into a three month solo trip around South East Asia. Koh Rong was my last stop in Cambodia, and I’d planned to spend a week there, relaxing on the beach, before heading over to Vietnam. However, as the week drew to a close, I found myself dreading my departure…
