Kilkenny is a beautiful city in the South East of Ireland.

Christmas in Belfast

The capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast is a vibrant metropolis that is home to a variety of pubs, bars, and live music venues.

The whole city is steeped in history and for any passionate historians, it’s definitely worth arranging a visit to Titanic Belfast, to learn more about one of the planet’s most famous ships.

Like the Republic of Ireland, Belfast is a warm area with a real sense of community at its heart. You can enquire about party prices at Revolución de Cuba, which is conveniently close to the train station and various hotels. This Cuban restaurant offers various Christmas party packages so that you can find the best fit.

Christmas in Wexford

The town of Wexford gets into the Christmas spirit like no other!

It is home to Wexford Winterland, a mesmerising Christmas festival that features a range of events, including craft fairs and an ice skating rink.

The festival takes over the whole town and truly makes this small harbour town in the East of Ireland a great place to visit this Christmas.

For a four course meal and a few drinks, you can enjoy a party at the Talbot Hotel, at €65 per person with four different December dates available.

If you fancy making a weekend of it, try and get to the Wexford coastline for a picturesque beach walk.

Christmas in Derry

The second biggest city in Northern Ireland, Derry features marvellous walls that were built in the 17th century, along with impressive architecture and cobblestone streets.

A smaller city than Belfast or Dublin, but bigger than the likes of Kilkenny and Wexford, Derry is an ideal spot if you’re looking for somewhere with a variety of bars and restaurants, which is still quieter than Ireland’s major cities.

Enjoy a delicious four course meal at £55 per person at the Everglades Hotel, which lies right on the banks of the River Foyle.

Christmas in Ireland | Final Thoughts

So, that’s it for this Irish Christmas party round-up! Ireland is a wonderful place to spend the festive season, and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas party, wherever it ends up being!

Last but not least, make sure that you wrap up warm and pack an extra jumper, as Ireland can get very chilly in the winter months!

Until next time,
